The Story Behind TowerTrek

How this project came to life

TowerTrek is a modern reimagining of the classic Tower of Hanoi puzzle, which has intrigued mathematicians, computer scientists, and puzzle enthusiasts for generations.

The Tower of Hanoi puzzle was invented by French mathematician Édouard Lucas in 1883, inspired by an ancient legend from Hanoi, Vietnam. According to the tale, monks were tasked with moving 64 golden disks, and once they completed the task, the world would end.

Our goal with TowerTrek was to create an engaging and accessible version of the puzzle, with intuitive controls, smooth animations, and customizable themes to make it enjoyable for players of all ages and skill levels.
